Welcome to the Whitewater Creek Sharks summer recreational swim team!
We are a member of the Peachtree City Summer recreation league in the Whitewater Creek neighborhood located in Fayetteville, Georgia.
Our swim team is a great opportunity for your swimmer(s) to try out competitive swimming in a fun, encouraging and developmental setting. The team practices for 6 weeks from the middle of May to the end of June.
Ages 5 - 18 are welcome! All swimmers must have a working knowledge of crawl stroke (freestyle), backstroke and an introduction to butterfly and breaststroke. They must be comfortable swimming with their face in the water. This is a lap swimming workout, and all strokes will be introduced. We recommend that swimmers have completed all lessons from either the PTC Dive Center or the Kedron Aquatic Center. This will give your swimmer the best chance for success and enjoyment.
Registration Fees:
WWC Resident: $155 per swimmer (6-week program)
Non-WWC Resident: $180 per swimmer (6-week program)
*Fee includes swim team registration, t-shirt & latex cap
Practice Schedule:
Practices are held Monday - Wednesday (exception: Time Trials will be held on Thursday, May 28th before meets start)
No practice on Monday, May 25th (Memorial Day)
6 & Under: 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM
7 – 8: 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM
11 - 12: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
9 - 10: 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM
13 & Older: 7:15 PM – 8:15 PM
Swim meets will be held weekly during the month of June on Thursday evenings. The City Championship will be held on Saturday, June 27th at Kedron Aquatic Center.
